The applicants must possess:

Taught

1. Graduates of the University of Zambia who have been admitted to the appropriate Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with at least a Credit; or
2. Graduates of other recognized Universities who have been admitted to the appropriate Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with at least a Lower second-class honors; or
3. In exceptional circumstances, graduates who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with a pass or its equivalent, and have a minimum of two year of acceptable professional experience at an appropriate level or other qualifications relevant to the pursuit of graduate studies may be accepted for admission

By Research

1. Graduates of the University of Zambia who have been admitted to the appropriate Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and relevant to the research topic with at least a Merit: or 8
2. Graduates of other recognized Universities who have been admitted to the appropriate Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with at least upper second-class honours; or
3. In exceptional circumstances, graduates who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field of study to Engineering and relevant to the research topic with a credit or its equivalent and who have a minimum of two years of acceptable professional experience at an appropriate level or other qualifications relevant to the pursuit of graduate studies may be accepted for admission.
